What Stallkeep does with marketplace data
For sellers thinking of connecting, and for the review teams at Etsy, eBay, Amazon and TikTok Shop. Last updated 10 October 2026.
Where things stand
Stallkeep runs a seller's online shop, till, stock, orders and invoices. Many of our sellers also sell on marketplaces, so we're applying to Etsy, eBay, Amazon and TikTok Shop to connect to sellers' accounts.
None of these connections is live yet. This page describes what each connection will do once the marketplace approves it. We'll update it before anything changes.
One part already works: Stallkeep answers eBay's marketplace account deletion notices at https://app.stallkeep.co.uk/webhooks/ebay/account-deletion. We hold no eBay data today. Once the eBay connection is live, a notice will remove that person's data from every shop on Stallkeep.
How connecting works
- The seller chooses to connect, from their own Stallkeep back office. Nothing connects by itself.
- They're sent to the marketplace's own sign-in page and approve the access there. Stallkeep never sees or stores their marketplace password.
- The marketplace gives Stallkeep an access token for that one seller's account, and only for the permissions the seller approved.
- From then on, Stallkeep keeps that seller's listings, stock and orders in step, as described below.
What we read and write, and why
Only what's needed to keep one seller's shop and their marketplace listings in step.

The buyer's details are used to fulfil that order and to keep the records the seller needs for tax and returns. Where a marketplace sets a shorter limit on keeping buyer details, we'll follow it.
What we never do
- No marketing to marketplace buyers. We don't add them to a seller's email list or send them offers.
- No selling or sharing. Marketplace data isn't sold, rented or shared with anyone outside the companies listed on our Trust centre.
- No buyer details sent to AI tools. If a seller uses an AI tool on a product, it sees product text and photos, not who bought it.
- No access beyond the seller's own account. One seller's marketplace data is never visible to another shop.
- No scraping. We only use each marketplace's official API, within its terms.
How access is kept safe
- Tokens are encrypted. Access tokens are stored encrypted, the same way Stallkeep already stores sellers' Stripe, courier and Google keys. They never appear in logs or activity records.
- Least access. We ask each marketplace only for the permissions in the table above. Inside a shop, staff see only what their role allows.
- Encrypted connections. Every call to a marketplace goes over HTTPS.

Disconnecting and deletion
- Disconnect at any time. From Stallkeep's settings, or by removing Stallkeep's access in the marketplace's own account settings. Stallkeep stops reading and writing straight away.
- The token is deleted on disconnect. The links between Stallkeep products and marketplace listings are removed too.
- Orders already fulfilled stay in the seller's own records. They're kept as the invoices and stock history the seller needs for tax, and deleted with the rest of the shop when the seller closes their account.
- Closing a Stallkeep account deletes everything. That includes marketplace data, once any period the law requires has passed. The steps are in our Trust centre.
- Deletion requests from a marketplace are honoured. A notice such as eBay's account deletion message removes that person's data from every shop.
